Welcome to the Love of Learning Montessori School!

The Love of Learning Montessori School is a private, non-profit, non-denominational school committed to providing a dynamic learning environment for children from diverse backgrounds.

This child-centered school promotes a love of learning and positive character development. Professionally trained staff, and a carefully prepared environment, help each child reach his/her true potential.

Our implementation of the Montessori method promotes the development of self-motivation, independence, curiosity, cooperation and concern for others within the framework of a strong academic program.

We have two locations:

1.Our Harborside location is on the grounds of Camp Alvernia:

We have programs at this location for children pre-school through 6th grade.

2.Our second location which has been in Dix Hills for the past 12 years is newly situated in Northport with the expectation that we will be open for business there in September, 2013.The address is:

We have a program at this location for pre-school and kindergarten.
